The efficiency of massage may be gained only if the certain requirements are kept. These demands must be combined with the demands to masseur, the place where massage is made and massage itself.
The main requirements are based on the next criteria that are the technical prepare if the masseur, conditions of the massage doing, the correct position of patient during massage, correct position of masseur during massage, the continuance of procedure and the course of massage.
Every masseur must know the main elements of anatomy of people and the physiological influence of the massage on the organism. There must be no rings, bracelets, watch on the hands of masseur. He/she must wash his/her hands with the soap perfectly before and after session of massage. Another note is that it is not recommended to talk during massage. All problems and questions that are connected with a patient must be verified and solved by masseur before the procedure. During work masseur must not smoke, drink or do other actions that don't refer to massage. It is not recommended to use perfume with sharp smell as not all people like it.
The patient must also follow the next requirements. First of all he/she must take a shower before the session of massage. If there is no such possibility it is necessary to wash legs and to wash other parts of body with the wet towel.
Massage must be done in the dry and hot place where there is no wind. It can be also done in fresh air when the temperature of the air is not lower than 22 degrees and it must be always done in the place protected from sun rays and the wind.
